Julie will deliver a keynote presentation at the inaugural Value-Based Health Care conference to be held in Perth, Western Australia from 27-28 May 2021.
The hybrid conference (part face-to-face, part remote) aims to showcase and celebrate value-based healthcare innovation, initiatives, implementation, research, and training from all areas of the health care system.
Julie’s presentation is called Patient Voice in Real-Time Value-Based Health Care. In 2013, Julie was treated for stage four throat cancer with 33 sessions of radiation therapy and weekly chemotherapy. Julie will present three positive examples of patients being given a voice so they can work in partnership with multidisciplinary clinical teams to improve their care in real-time.
