Stroke Q&A

Wolper Jewish Hospital, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, runs an active and popular Education and Wellbeing Program, aiming to educate the local community and encourage discussion of topical health-related issues.

Recent sessions have focused on Diabetes and Music, and I’m pleased to say I’ll be the Moderator for their next session, which focuses on Stroke, and specifically the principle of “think FAST: Prevention and treatment of stroke”.

The panel will include Acting Professor Steven Faux from St Vincent’s Hospital, Professor Ines Krass from the University of Sydney, nurse Caleb Ferguson and nursing research expert Simeon Dale, while there will be more experts in the audience.

This session is free, and I do hope plenty of locals will come along and bring their families to ask questions after the panel presentation.
